these days and nights have gone very quickly. but they are very good.

i have meet a few long time busblog readers who have come up to me and introduced themselves. one guy even took his picture with me.

very very nice.

when there arent a gazillion comments sometimes i feel like its just me and the google spiders proving each others existence, but when people either write me out of the blue or come up and say hi, it reminds me that this mic is on.

and its hot.

speaking of… tonight we party and tomorrows the last day of sxsw interactive.

then the rock comes in town. 1900 bands.

and here are some of the rumored bands i have heard in the halls and seen on twitter:

motley crue, janes addiction, kanye west, metallica.

bad news is im leaving on saturday and two of those rumored acts are rumored to rock on saturday night.

According to the latest press release, the site goes fully live on March 24 as a subscription-based portal, offering fans access to the new music, as well as unleashing a torrent of extremely rare concert footage from his entire career. Ranging from early shows to his already-mythologized appearance at Coachella 2008, Purple People who ante up the annual $77 fee can download all three of the new albums and all of the requisite goodies that come with them (lyrics, photos, etc).

But for L.A-area Prince fans, March 24 will be especially juicy, with the artist planning on performing no less that three different shows in the city at three different locations, and with a unique band at each stop. Details are promised on LOtUSFLOW3r.com over the days to come.

4:03pm a woman with purple streaks is worried about being “that girl” if her sex tapes get out. shes worried cuz “it’s facebook, man.” she says the people who are professionals in her life will help her get ahead, not the people she sleeps with.

3:36pm the room next to us is roaring in laughter. have i picked the wrong panel?

3:37pm dude with a fuzzy had and a huge camera has nealt before me.

3:38pm does anyone *not* check up on the people we date any more? does anyone say “lets go old school and not google each other”.

3:39pm for such a sexy topic the conversation is less than sexy.

3:40p a very tall man has now decided to Stand in front of me. let it be known that i am sitting in a chair near the back corner of the room.

3:41 a woman is sharing that one of her first interviews was with howard stern. she says the blogosphere got a hold of her interview and it turned her book into a success on amazon and her honesty helped her get google #1 trend.

3:43: being volcanic on google for one day, then being on tyra and dr. phil, just based on one howard interview.

not sure what the point was about all of this, but now theyre talking about KY.

right now im in the International Business in China for Fun and Profit one.

robert scales and kris krug are on it so i know it wont be dull.

its one of the few panels at this hour because todays keynote is also going on. so i got in here early, plugged in so i could charge the iphone and figured it would be a good time to blog for the first time.

me and sk were at the Bloggie awards. very nice, wholesome, funny blog award deal. lasts about an hour cuz hardly anyone is ever there to accept. Wonkette was up against some super hard competition like fivethirtyeight and cute overload and gawker.

much warmer today. this morning i walked across Brush Park to listen to gabe rivera talk about “beyond aggregation” and i had no flannel on and it was nice.

its almost too bad that they cant spread this out over a longer period of time. like once a week someone owns the SXSW video channel and during lunch they broadcast some tips. maybe they host a panel at their workspace.

i say that because almost every panel has some really valuable information.

chinas most famous heavy metal guitarist is in the front row. hes now into the tech world.
