showed up in the biggest way last night in boston
and then he showed the biggest heart.
its nice to see some emotion from millionaires in pro sports
helps me believe in what we used to believe in

Thanks for posting this. Although I despise the Lakers as much as I despsise the Spurs, it was nice to see this at the end of the game. It gave me a momentary soft spot for your team.
A couple weeks ago I was listening as some broadcaster opined that Derek Fisher “will never be in the Hall of Fame.” Maybe that’s true, but he’s in mine — even moreso after that last impossible 1-on-3 lay-up he deliveredlast night.
Looking at the awesome picture of Fisher’s shot on the front page of today’s LA Times Sports section, I consider it no less iconic a moment than Kirk Gibson’s against-all-odds homerun against Oakland in the 1988 World Series.
Saw this live last night. Fish is the man. Just a great great guy & teammate.
